Anurag Thakur Slams Congress, Calls National Herald Case ‘A New Chapter in Corruption’

Union Minister Anurag Thakur has launched a scathing attack on the Congress party, calling the National Herald case a fresh chapter in what he termed as the "Congress model of corruption." Thakur alleged that the party has long been involved in financial irregularities and that this particular scam reflects its continued misuse of public funds and power.
Speaking to the media, Thakur said,
"The National Herald scam isn’t just about one company or a few individuals—it's a reflection of how the Congress party has systematically indulged in corruption for decades."
The case, which involves top Congress leaders, including Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi, is currently under investigation for alleged misappropriation of funds related to the Associated Journals Limited (AJL) and Young Indian Pvt Ltd.
The BJP has demanded transparency and accountability, urging law enforcement agencies to take strict legal action.
